La Grande Maestro, director Bernardo Bertolucci, shares a tender moment with Missing Mona Lisa producer Larry Thompson at the Cinema Italian Style 2013 Opening Ceremony at The Egyptian Theatre. Mr. Bertolucci's cinema classic, The Last Emperor, winner of 9 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, was re-mastered in 3-D and premiered by the AFI Fest at TCL Chinese Theater on Sunday, November 10, 2013.
Italian director Paolo Sorrentino with producer Larry Thompson at the Cinema Italian Style 2013 Opening Ceremony at The Egyptian Theatre. Paolo's film, The Great Beauty (La Grande Bellezza) won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
